After I.R.B. panel trivialized a decision was made that I was not found a refugee. The same officials ignored my 3 requests addressed to I.R.B. in Edmonton to hand over my previously handed out documents (which were needed to leave Canada), and Dutch Consulate refused to give a 'Lessee Passé'. The Immigration Officers arrested me (on my way to leave Canada) in Halifax after I brought my car on the ferry to Belgium.

The reason for my arrest was that I was found: "A DANGER TO THE PUBLIC", and that I would not appear to testify. I found that both reasons which are standard reasons for the Immigration Bureau in Canada to give themselves the immoral rights in hands to hold innocent people in custody in a unlawful way.

During a hearing by phone, an Immigration Officer admitted that the reason of "danger to the public" didn't fit my case. So it was a kind of premature "slander" to inflict my good name. Also the reason wass mentioned that I would not appear, which has nothing to do with the reality. Fact is that I.R.B. refused to appear for a period of almost four months for verbal and written requests to the fact that I wanted to leave Canada.

This aside of the fact that I.R.B. dismisses a refugee claim in spite of witnesses an testimonies of numberless people, including member of 1st Chamber of the Dutch Parliament, and member of the High Permanent Commission for Justice affairs, the Honourable Mr. G. Holdijk, and full proof of the "Cruel and unusual treatment by Dutch police and Justice Officials. The board of I.R.B. "lies and added twisted and trivialized motivations in their decision.

At the present time an Immigration agent or Officer, mr. Darsey or mr. Furland, promised during an info meeting on January 7th 2005, to copy the documents that I gave him and return them the next day. He didn't return my documents, not even after several requests, in spite of his representative where they held me. He refused to see me. The same behaviour occurred related to my fax messages in order to authorize official mediators in the Netherlands to negotiate with other Government Officials about problems concerned the refugee claim motivations. Immigration Officers known that those negotiations are important to solve the refugee conflict, but they sent the fax to a unknown fax address in Canada instead to Holland.

All this and the unbelievable fact that Canadian Immigration Board as well as myself requested and demanded that I must and will leave this country to go back to Europe, and that I am not a danger to the public, and do not wish to stay unlawfully in Canada, and do not wish to collaborate with I.R.B. to escape the painful truth in accusing the Netherlands for bad behaviour, why I applied for immigration to Canada, in combination with the unlawful act from I.R.B. to hold me jailed without any reasonable information and motivation, all this gives me the right to refuse your drinks and food.

In anger,

A. van Velsen
